Mr Reginald Hamilton and his wife Thelda started their earthmoving and civil works business in the 1970’s to service the Townsville and surrounding region. Their vision and strong commitment to providing a high level of service has today transformed a small humble beginning to one of Townsville’s most respected and highly regarded businesses.

The key to Mites success is the passing on of Reginald and Thelda’s drive and commitment onto two more generations of the Hamilton Family, keeping the business and their clients as the major motivation. Each family member heads key areas of management within the company, each specializing in maintaining the quality and efficiency in their respective rolls. The management team is crossed skilled and experienced in all areas of company, eliminating inefficiencies caused by lack of knowledge and team members’ availability. An experienced management team, selective modern machinery and extensively experience in a diverse range of work is what makes Mite Constructions a leading Civil Construction Company, able to successfully demonstrate capability of completing projects on time and to a high standard.

 

Working with Industry and Others

Mite Constructions is involved in a variety of industry associations in order to further our business, using the associations as networking arenas and platforms for voicing concerns over new legislative changes and other government policy. Our memberships with Master Builders and the Chamber of Commerce help with courses and training for our employees to remain up to date with extra industry certification.
